Feature Release: Creating Custom Roles that Include Partner Dashboard Permissions

You read that correctly!

As a Wix Partner, you now have the ability to give team members access to the Marketplace.

Here’s an overview of this feature:

  • The Account Admin (Co-owner) and Website Manager roles include Marketplace permissions. In other words, members assigned these roles will have Marketplace access by default.

  • Marketplace Permissions can be added to Custom Roles via the Manage Roles section under the Team Management Settings in the Partner Dashboard.

  • Team members with Marketplace access can access and respond to leads, update project statuses, update Marketplace profiles, and view the Marketplace Overview. Pretty much everything associated with the Marketplace!

  • Team members DO NOT receive the Marketplace automated email alerts. Currently these can only go to the account owner email address

Keep in mind that this feature is currently available for EN accounts. Details on the release of additional languages will be provided as they’re made available.

This is great! I hope we see some of these permissions get separated out into multiple permissions so we have even more control over it. Things like hiding income, editing the profile, etc.
