It would be nice to add the Verified Group Badge feature to the wix group.
If this feature is added, you will be able to distinguish between real and fake groups.

Hi there, you can assign badges to members by following the steps here . If you’re referring to implementing a system that automatically verifies groups, it’s currently unavailable. Great #featurerequest though!
