Filter values not in alphabetical order

Hi, I have a filter on my page for collections which is essentially a list of brands. However, the default values in the filter are not in an alphabetical order. I am having to manually rearrange the values in the filter to show them in an alphabetical order. There are more than 100 values in the list and as such it is very tedious to do this manually. Hence I thought I would ask here if anyone knows how to list the filter values automatically in an alphabetical order.
