Hi, unfortunately I found that when ever you fix (pin) a box with a Richtext box inside, typed letters in the Richtext box will look weird, unless you mark the weird letters or wait a long time of amount till they get “converted” to normal letters.
Tested Webbrowsers: Safari and Chrome Affected Webbrowser: Safari Working example of the bug : influced.com/bug (Open with Safari)
How to reproduce: Create an empty page. Add a container box. Drag and Drop a Richtext Box into the container box. Pin the container box (no specific position needed, choose any). Publish and open the page with Safari. Start typing.
Workaround : Unpin the Container Box
Additional Info: If you have a powerful machine like me I7, 16 GB RAM the weird letters will get converted to “normal” letters in a more or less reasonable time. If you test it with an I5, 8 GB RAM it really takes a lot of time to convert the weird letters.
I’m the dev that worked on this. Just want to update you that a fix will be pushed very soon. It was actually a bug in Safari it self. But we managed to find a way around it.
Hi, @shaulg
that’s great news! Thank you for the quick fix! My site will go live on August 1st. Any chance, that the push will be done before that date?
@shaulg Just want to say well done, great communication from the Dev Team. Any idea on when the Google Map Component & User Inputs are coming? It’s been a long time…

Thanks Unfortunately, I worked only on the rich text component and have completely left this project. I come back only to fix rich text issues.
I guess maybe you can ask the support team here. Hopefully they can give you some kind of timeframe.
