Apple made updates to their iPad OS software that automatically displays the Desktop version of a site. Users can choose to request desktop version for individual sites, but I’m almost positive there’s no way to code this through Wix, as it is baked into the Safari browser.

That is why Wix recommends to stay within the gridlines or use columns, to account for smaller screen sizes.
