Health Data - need to define server regions

I need my Velo databases to be compliant with health data regulations in the UK:

“Data must only be hosted within the UK - European Economic Area (EEA), a country deemed adequate by the European Commission, or in the US where covered by Privacy Shield.”

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I tried wix help and got a canned response sending me to a generic page.

"Wix has servers all over the world, including Europe and the US, as well as back up servers. We use our technology to host quality Wix sites that are viewed globally. Learn more here . "

Velo is not HIPAA complaint, and the Velo database is replicated into 3 continents.

You can use external database connector to connect with a database located in the UK - see there https://support.wix.com/en/article/velo-working-with-external-database-collections

We are aware of the recent case where the Court of Justice of the European Union (“CJEU”) issued a ruling invalidating the use of the EU-US Privacy Shield (“Privacy Shield”) framework with immediate effect

It is important to note that, even though the Privacy Shield framework was invalidated, Wix .com will continue to process all personal data with appropriate protections and safeguards in place.

1 - Wix .com as a controller of its Users’ information:

Wix .com is considering the judgment by the CJEU and its impact on international data transfers. We will continue to monitor the situation and intend to adhere to a solution that ensures that global data flows may continue, and that people’s personal data is duly protected.

In the interim, in the event that the storage and/or processing of personal data involves transfers of personal data out of the EEA or the UK, Wix will use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (“SCCs”) – which the CJEU confirmed remain a lawful data transfer mechanism - in order to guarantee the transfer of personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy regulation.

2 - Wix .com as a processor of your customers’ data:

Site owners – as the exporter of their customers’ data – may rely on Wix .com’sDPA (see Section 8) to ensure that relevant data transfers are made in accordance with SCCs. These SCCs are incorporated automatically into your agreement with Wix .com.

We will also continue to monitor guidance and statements from regulators to evaluate whether any additional steps might need to be taken to ensure adequate safeguards are in place and will notify you of any further changes in due course.
