Hide menu entry using code

My site has a number of top-level entries on the menu, one of which is a login page which gives access to a database. There are several subheadings below this which perform various functions on the database.
I have found a number of people try to go directly to the subpages, and have to be redirected back to the login page. So…
Is it possible to ‘hide’ the subpage menu entries (using code) until such time as the user has logged in, then make them reappear again.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

You can’t hide or show items from the menu element.
You can replace the menu with buttons, link each button to the relevant page and show the subpages only when the visitor is logged in, use the onLogin function to know when a visitor logged-in.

Good luck

Thanks, I suspected that may be the case, but it was worth checking
