Hiding custom mega menu in the Editor ?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there were a way not to display the elements/layers of a custom mega menu when working on the Editor. It is impossible for me to work on my website pages with those big and crazy elements permanently covering them.

I’m sorry if that question seems like a “basic” for pros. It’s just that as there are so many people out there developing custom drop-down mega menus on their website, I assume you guys have found out how to make it efficient.

I’m not a pro, and that’s why I ask.

You can go in the layers panel of the Tools Toolbar and hide specific elements.

Hi @David and thanks for the quick answer. Unfortunately, this solution does not appear to work out for elements “shown on all pages”.

All elements should be there, I think. However, you should check the head section if you set an element to show on all pages. You can also check the box under the Tools section to hide all hidden elements inside the editor, but this will hide all of them - no way to select which ones.
