Hello everyone! I am trying to connect profile page in user section and catalog. So here is what i’ve done already: i created
you need to be able to enter the catalog, select a store by category and go to your personal profile (I already created it). in order to use the participant’s menu and get acquainted with the profile’s posts in blog. The logic of the pages of the site that I implement: “catalog-personal profile-personal blog posts, etc.”. This is possible because when filling out the form (which I created) for the registered user of the site, the ID field is assigned to the data and you can filter the database by registered users (which I did on the user’s page “edit profile” ). But I can’t understand how I can link the catalog and profile! How to implement this logic on the site? The main trafic is going to move this way.
I wrote to wix support and they recomended to make some dynamic pages for each category and then filter the database according to the catalog category. It seems i will have to organise categories manually after every registration. To do that I need a lot time becouse i have about 70 profiles and 18 categories in catalog. I get information about categories using form as the other information and want to use it all in a right way. Needless to add that user menu can’t appear at dynamic page, so thats why wix support is wrong. Please somebody help me to make it work!
