How can I show only the items in repeater with a date equal to today?

I have a dataset with events listed on it and each has a date and time. I would like users to click a checkbox and only show today’s events. the trick is That it also needs to work with my other filter and keyword search.

Simple example-structure…

…in combination with using an “if-query” to clarify what shall happen.
