How can users save a form and come back to it later ?

I have a long multi-step form and I would like members of my site to be able to save it and come back to it later. How can I do this?

Set up authoring, viewing, and editing permissions by author.
Define the read and write database
Then whoever enters a new creature, and after creating it will be written only for an update.
You will only seemingly need to arrange the new and updated Create button. And maybe it shouldn’t either.
