I have a very fast computer and a great configuration but my editor is very slow.
VERY SLOW: Opening the layers panel makes things very slow. It takes 3 to 4 minutes to fix my layers and moving things up and down…
VERY SLOW: Adding a contact form in my footer and trying to design it the right way. It actually almost impossible to design the form the way I want, it’s very slow.
VERY SLOW: Adjusting size of a section
BUG: While trying to change the size of an image and scrolling up or down, the image scroll with the page, which makes it impossible to determine the right size in the section.
BUG: Adding a new image on the website. Yesterday, it was impossible to add 3 images consecutively. While adding this section, I needed to add one image, save my work, quit the page, go back to my Wix home page, edit the site and launch again the editor, adding the 2nd image…. And so on.
Hey Damien and Robert,
Thank you for your feedback, we’ll take a look at all the things you’ve mentioned. @damien could you please elaborate on the ‘While trying to change the size of an image and scrolling up and down…’ issue? So i’ll be sure i’m understanding the issue we should check.
Thanks!
Agreed. I’m having similar speed/glitchy issues with both adding elements to the page and managing sections on the layers panel. In my case, trying to add a section caused me to inadvertently add too many. Now, I can’t get them to delete via the layers pallet or by directly selecting the section… just sends me into a glitchy spiral of death… I end up re-loading Wix editor and trying again.
Thank you for your help. I think the issue has been resolved because I’am trying to replicate the issue but everything looks fine now. If the issue comes back, I’ll make sure to take note and give you some feedback.
Yes I’ve had the same but only in Firefox - in Chrome its a bit sluggish but usable. In Firefox it just stops and says a webpage is slowing down my browser - should I stop it or wait. Its very frustrating!
@sebi-vidret Hi Sebi. Its ok. I had a reply back saying that editor x is only supported in chrome and that’s why firefox doesn’t work. Chrome seems to be ok now so I think it must have been a one glitch. Thanks though!
