How much can Wix with Corvid do? Can it compete with WP?

I have been using Wix to build websites for myself and small customers for a while and I’m continually impressed with how robust it has become while still being so user-friendly. I’m a web designer/UX designer by trade so I don’t really do much coding, hence why I like Wix so much. That said, I have a couple of freelance opportunities for larger more robust sites and I’m wondering if Wix is really designed to handle something that large. It seems like it could, I’ve just never built something that big on it and I’ve never used Corvid. I’m going to paste a couple of sections of the RFP below to help with input. Hopefully, someone here has built some pretty big and robust stuff and can speak to whether some of their requirements could be met or not. Thanks!

This is part of the smaller RFP. I’m pretty sure it can do these things.

This is a much larger website, although it’s not really all that complex what they have today. My biggest question is around search and the video library I guess.

“Convert current content to a new CMS platform that would be operated by staff.
Recreate/import all current content and functions.
Program website interface and change homepage layout so that it is cleaner, more user
friendly and less content-heavy.
Provide development consulting, with attention to responsive design.
Create website search capability using keywords or phrasing that will identify content throughout the site.

Cost for the development of a video library page organized by category. Videos would be able to be embedded on the page and would also be stored on our YouTube page.

Wix sites cannot be hosted by third parties, though urls can, so that may be a dealbreaker depending on what you mean.

Tbh though, for a site this large you should be using something like Django so that you are able to make decisions on database architecture. I may have recommended Webflow because of the responsiveness aspect…but they also use noSQL like Wix. It sound like you should be using SQL.
