How to connect your suppliers products and inventory using Wix API's?

Hi, we want to automise our dropshipping by connecting our Wix store with our supplier.
Our supplier has an API code that can be integrated in your website so there is a realtime stockfeed and the orders go straight to the supplier. Now my question is, how do you do this? Do you need to set up an external Database or where do you need to integrate this code?
