How to Copy Paste Mobile Popover JavaScript (Amazon Associate ) in a WIX website?

Hey guys iam new here. can you help me out here please.

I want to add this JavaScript code just before the as the amazon help mentions but it is for WordPress as you can see from the screenshots that i posted.

My question is who do we do the similar in WIX?

"WordPress

  1. Login to your WordPress account.

  2. Go to the dashboard of your blog page.

  3. Click on “Appearance → Editor” on the left pane.

  4. Select Footer.php file from the right pane under templates.

  5. Add the popover ad code before tag in the template."

If you have a free account you cannot do it.
If you have a premium account connected to your own domain you can try:
On the site dashboard (not on the editor):
Settings (on the left bar) > Tracking tools > Create a custom tool
Put out the snippet, set it to the body end, select on which page you need it (or “All”),

Thanks for the reply.

but there is no " Tracking tools > Create a custom tool "
but there is " custom code". is this what you meant?

And in custom code there are 2 options:

and if this is what you meant i believe we should select: body end> add code.
am i in the right path?

@rahultrashok That looks right according to this Wix article:
https://support.wix.com/en/article/embedding-custom-code-to-your-site

i did add the code snippet accordingly but unfortunately it’s not working

@rahultrashok That’s too bad. You can contact Wix Customer Care for support on this issue. They are best suited to help since this feature is not part of Corvid.

You can also find more articles about Wix’s various Marketing Integrations here:
https://support.wix.com/en/marketing-tools/marketing-integrations-tracking .

@rahultrashok you’re right. I wrote what I remembered (and didn’t bother to open the dashboard to see the actual terms).
As for the code itself, are you sure you copied the full snippet? +Try to see what happens if you add the scheme (the “https:”) to the script src.

@jonatandor35 ( As for the code itself, are you sure you copied the full snippet? ) yes .

( Try to see what happens if you add the scheme (the “https:”) to the script src. )

this the code, where exactly should i add?

@marlowe-shaeffer thanks

@rahultrashok so I’m sorry but I don’t know. I believe that adding it to the custom code section should work if the snippet is correct. When you test it try to see if it works on static pages first (do not start with dynamic pages).

That looks right according to this Wix article:

Thank you Ma’am for sharing this info. Actually I am also new developer and this is also help me to know.

@marlowe-shaeffer

Hello! Did anyone ever find a work around for this? I’ve done all of the listed above and the general add custom HTML and still no popover.

not working. maybe we should move to wordpress

Put the code in the "head"instead of the “body-end.” It should work.

And make sure it’s applied to all pages.

You should see the popover immediately, but there is a funky white box on the page after each link. Also readers have to scroll slowly in order for the box to appear.
