I am developing a site for my wife who is a school teacher. I am using wix-members to create a secure area for the students, but I cannot allow new users to sign up, accounts have to be provisioned according to her student rosters. How do I disable new signups on the site?

at this point we do not have inbuilt solutions for this,
but as I know we are working on Pre-Approving Site Members feature here: https://support.wix.com/en/article/request-pre-approving-site-members
also, it is possible to manually approve every member you would like to:

none-approved members won’t have access to the site
also you can use few options with coding like:
register students with code and Share credentials to them
or add credentials to database and implement code, so email contacts will be registered as members
