How to edit custom field on a selected list of contacts?

Is there any way to edit a custom field on a selected set of contacts?
For example, all my contacts have a custom field called “Status” and I want to check off multiple contacts and update the status field.

Hi there,

The best way to go about this would be to export the contacts CSV file and make a bulk editing with Excel.

I demonstrated this down below.

Thanks Randy. I thought of that, but way too much work for what should be a simple, basic function in Ascend. Something Wix needs to get on top of as it’s promoting its databases and email list functions. Cheers.
