How to fix a translucent header?

As you can see by the screenshot, the opacity of my header is 100%, yet, everything I place behind is still seen in the preview. It doesn’t actually seem to be a solid color, it is acting as if the opacity is at 0%. If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be much appreciated.

reason for this is layers, header was not set to be at front, please see the example attached:

also this article could be useful in regard to your initial query:

I am having exactly the same problem, and have read this note, watched the associated video (about 10 times!), read the linked article, twiddled with the settings, and yet the problem persists. Am stumped.

please share the sitelink with us, or video of the problem, so we can take a closer look

Thank you! I definitely knew about the arrange feature but i guess my brain blocked it out for this particular instance… such a simple fix. Thanks a lot for the help.

So i tried what’s in the video and it worked… temporarily. It somehow arranges itself automatically to the back.

Andrew - thank you very much for your reply. In the meantime, it seems to be fixed. I express it that way because I have little idea what I did to fix it! Tried all sorts of things - nothing seemed to be working, and then all of a sudden the header was opaque. Wish I knew what had done the trick. Anyway, all’s well that ends well. New to this tool, so the learning curve is on the steep part at the moment. Good though.

this could happen in case other section was arranged to front for example
try to bring header to front and Publish the site
let’s see if this will be changed later on
