How to get wix blog database items display on customized content boxes chronologically.

Hi,
I’m trying to get the custom layout i have created on my website homepage to display content from the wix blog database in new to old order.

I could only get the repeater container to display the first 2 items.
And when I tried to use singular container boxes I couldn’t connect it to any other item from the database apart from the first one.

I would appreciate any help on this.
