Hello,
First time using Wix…on my home screen, I put in a Hamburger Menu button. When pressed, the Menu Container opens up and has some more options. There is text on the home screen that shows through when the Menu Container is opened. How do I make that text disappear only when the menu option is pressed?

Hello, I believe that if you could provide more details using images and other materials, the community members would find it easier to support you! 
Probably down to layers and ordering. If you open the hamburger menu and check the layers panel, try to bring the menu section to the front.
I figured out a solution. I opened the menu up and changed the background image to the same photograph as before except without the text
