# How to obtain my MemberID

**I’m having trouble with**  
I am trying to use Github, VS Code to publish code to my website. One of the items I need for this is my MemberID. I can’t believe something so easy is so difficult. I have tried multiple methods, either the instructions are obsolete or just don’t plain work. Is there a way to get this information?

Wix Studio Editor, Wix Editor, Dev Mode,

I am trying to develop a program that monitors a RSS Feed to help me create articles.

**What I’ve tried so far**  
too many methods to remember at this point. I’m seriously frustrated and about ready to cancel my Wix account.

You could locate your member-ID within the CMS collection for member data. [[Make sure you enable app collection](https://support.wix.com/en/article/cms-formerly-content-manager-working-with-wix-app-collections)]

I tested this with a velo function and got the same result:
