How to prepare migration to a self-developed forum?

Hi,

I’m starting a community with Forum Add-on from Wix.
After we earn user tractions, we’d like to migrate to a brand new, self-developing Forum site.

We are considering MySQL, node.js, Vuejs for the official site or utilize node.BB or Flarum.

It’s critical to migrate our user DB and activities safely.
I’ve seen Database manager export as .csv file, but I don’t think this can completely prepare migration.

How can we prepare migration to a self-developed forum site?
