@carmelsc @roni-fialkow How long does it take to get something as straight forward as Adobe Fonts integrated!? This thread started 18months ago!
Editor X is targeted at designers; designers typically use Adobe subscriptions (and if not, likely still use fonts from Adobe); Figma and all other design software integrates with Adobe Fonts; yet Editor X doesn’t integrate. There’s no way I’m signing up for Editor X until this is a possibility.
Even in the Editor X Typography article it states “The most common web font providers are Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit).”
You say the design possibilities are endless with Editor X, however, in fact there are major limitations to typography, a key feature of digital design solutions. This needs to be made a priority. Until then, most professional designers will not be happy with the limitations.
PS. please allow for easier Google Fonts integration while you’re at it- downloading and uploading from a web-hosted service to then, well, host on the web again seems like additional effort.
