.html in URL

Hi there… have recreated a new site in Editor X from an old site created in Adobe Muse. It’s for a rail-trail; we have a bunch of existing signage that uses a QR code to point the user to a page on the site that has a map of our trail. I recreated the page in the new site with the URL miairlinetrail.com/aboutmap , BUT the QR code was created to look for miairlinetrail.com/aboutmap.html .

How do I tell the WIX server to see or acknowledge the “.html” so the QR code will work?

Sounds like you’ll need to setup a 301 redirect - Setting Up a 301 Redirect for a Page on Your Site | Help Center | Wix.com

This should allow people visiting the link ending in .html to be redirected to the new page.
