I think Multistate box broke my site!

Like sooooo many developers, I was extremely excited when multistate boxes launched for EditorX. Yesterday I added ONE multistate box to a project I’ve been working on for months, and although yesterday I was able to work with it (used velo to advance through on-click), today my site editor became completely unresponsive in that ANY change I attempted to make would not save. If I tried to delete or add an element, or even just move or edit an already existing element, any change would revert back after 5 seconds!

I connected with EditorX care team support (Corey was absolutely awesome!), and although we figured it was a cache/cookies issue with the browser I was using, I have since tried MULTIPLE browsers, cleared all cache/cookies, and even tried incognito and I still had the same issue. Corey mentioned the site checker and although I was getting no errors on the site, every time I tried to publish or save the site, I kept getting a 10902 error:

I kept refreshing, contacting support, etc., and still nothing would work.

In the end, I reverted back to a previous version of my site (using site history) from BEFORE I added a multi-state box and everything works again.

Now, it may have been something else going on, but literally the only change I made was adding the multistate box and then everything broke. ugh.

Has anyone else had issues with multistate boxes?

I will try again over the next couple days, and hopefully it all works out and it was only user error on my end. Will update post after try #2

hey, @jessica-cortez-kimba I was able to locate the chat with Corey you are referring to (thank you for the nice feedback by the way, even in such a frustrating situation) in case this is the situation that needs support contact, I’ve created a ticket on your behalf, once there will be any update, you will receive an email

Ok cool!!! Thanks a bunch! I’m in no way complaining about anything (I think multistate boxes open up so much dev possibilities), but just wanted to post this in case others are having similar issues

no problems with this, other Community members will see you post and contact our support team, if they will experience the same situation

Yes. Let us know of their findings if you can as maybe others can see get the answer from this case.
