Yeah, that is more or less what I’m writing. Mine is a little fancier because I also wrap some other javascript console functions. I also have a way I can be more verbose if it’s my Wix userId that is looking at the page. That way, I can turn on logging for myself only.
I’m curious about what logging packages you can install on Wix. When I go to the package installer and choose External Packages/NPM I see the top 10 installable packages:
lodash, @sendgrid moment, uuid, pdf-generator, stripe, axios, crypto-js, nodemailer, twilio.
I don’t see a way to get more than the top 10 installable packages, so after that, it’s up to me to search for something I want to install. But the problem is, nothing installable ever seems to show up there. Everything I’ve searched for has two options in the menu. Request, and See Documentation. At the very least, I would hope that when searching, Wix might put the installable packages at the top of the search results. Or give me a way to find more than the top 10 installable packages. Or a way to filter out the non-installable packages and only show me what Wix actually supports currently. But honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever found anything that had an install option. Am I missing something fundamental about how Wix/Velo handles installing npm packages?
