iFrame Issue - clicked content should open in new window

A previous poster @info49471 posted an issue with MindBody iframe script that can be used and I’m having the same issue. And despite Editor x team checking this and deeming it a MindBody issue I’ve tested on other platforms with no issues.

To expand this - the provided Mindbody script works properly (as expected) in all other editors (squarespace, wordpress, etc.).

Script provides a “button” to purchase a class and upon clicking button the behavior should open a pop-up outside of the iframe itself. See proper example of this squarespace site (https://www.joymoves.com/pricing/).

Unfortunately within both wix and editorx the “pop-up” opens within the iframe deeming the “button” useless unless the entire page is a button. See example here: https://www.versafitnesstraining.com/month-to-month

Is there any settings/dev code that can be added to iframe container that can be employed? Can the html element container allow script code? I’m also going to put in a support ticket but if any community member has thoughts I’m all ears. Thanks!!

Thanks @mariamc . They did get back to me. Basically the current Editor X iframe element doesn’t behave in that manner but the dev team will take it into considerations for any updates. They did provide a possible way using Velo in dev mode but its not in the clients budget to work through all that. :slight_smile: I’ve pasted the provided link just in case anyone else has interest.
