Hello,
I need to link a part of a sentence to a particular position on a page. I cannot use anchors as the page has expand/collapse elements involved that mess up the positioning of the intended anchor if I choose that route and it won’t work at all.
Basically, what I am asking for is expansion of PROPERTIES for elements to PROPERTIES FOR LINKING SUBWINDOW. So I can highlight a part of my in-line paragraph text, then attempt to link it via CODE triggers as a new option added to the list of available standard editor based linking options. So when I hit the link chain icon, and pop up comes up, I can have a tiny code text box that says on click of this highlighted text, do this…
I am pretty confident this is not currently possible short of perhaps a lot of painful and lagging workarounds, maybe.
Additionally and in an unrelated but related note, as I have asked before about this too, such an implementation can incorporate REL FOLLOW REL NO FOLLOW TAGS for the links within the same link creation pop up window. When I asked about this last time, the method suggested sent me all over the world and became highly unecomonical to try and get a single link to rel no follow. such advanced linking features for inline text will give us much more control. And also expand into other elements linking options too.
Thanks
Omid
