Inspector Shortcut Not Working

Hi there, I’m having issues with the Inspector Keyboard Shortcut. Anytime I press “command I” as stated in the manual, a computer function pops up and not the inspector within editor x. I am using a mac computer. Does anyone know why this might be? Thank you!
