Integrate the IntraMuros widget on Wix (Post)

Good morning,

I am interning in web development and working on a new platform. I’m being asked to integrate the IntraMuros News Widget/API with Wix (Post) to avoid having to update news twice on both platforms. However, I don’t know how to integrate the code provided by IntraMuros into the Post section of the Wix site so that it automatically displays news posted on IntraMuros.

I use Wix Editor. For the moment, I have not found any sources that could help me because IntraMuros is not known and therefore little used.

You could use the following to do this:

• HTTP Functions to create your own endpoint that you can call from IntraMuros when a new post is made there: Introduction - Velo API Reference - Wix.com
• wix-blog-backend to create and publish draft posts when your HTTP endpoint is called: Introduction - Velo API Reference - Wix.com
• HMAC or some other scheme to secure your endpoint so that unauthorized users can’t post blog posts on your site. One thing to keep in mind though is that duplicating content between sites can cause search engines to lower their ranking of your site. In this case it’s important to make sure you set a canonical URL (ie. the primary URL). createDraftPost() can accept an array called tags to do so.
