Hello Wix Community,
I’m experiencing an issue with a Bubble form that I’ve embedded on my Wix site. The form is designed to create a service request, and it functions perfectly on desktop browsers. Additionally, the form works well on mobile devices when accessed directly via Bubble, outside of the Wix embed. However, when the form is accessed through a mobile browser via Wix, the page refreshes as expected, but no service request is created in the database.
Issue Overview:
- The form is embedded within a Wix site.
- The user filling out the form is not logged in; instead, their email is passed through the URL.
- On desktop browsers, the service request is created without any issues.
- On mobile browsers, when accessed via Wix, the page refreshes, but no service request is recorded in the database.
- The same form works without issues when accessed directly on mobile via Bubble, suggesting the problem might be related to how the form functions within the Wix environment.
Error Encountered:
- Initially, when attempting to update a record by performing a search within the workflow, I encountered a “session expired/changed” error.
- I removed that step for troubleshooting, which resolved the error, but the issue of the service request not being created on mobile (within Wix) persists.
Steps Taken:
- Simplified the workflow by removing the step that caused the session error.
- Testing confirms that the issue is isolated to mobile devices when the form is embedded in Wix, as the form works correctly when accessed directly through Bubble on mobile.
Request for Assistance:
Has anyone encountered similar issues with Bubble forms embedded in Wix, particularly on mobile devices? I’m looking for advice on ensuring that the service request is successfully created when using the form on mobile through Wix. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best,
Omar
