The separators depend on the menu chosen since they have different designs. From what I can see with the submenu, the spacing of submenu container depends on width of the containers. I tested it on my end and by increasing the width of the menu, I was able to add more room around the text.

Ok, I can see, that there is no separators in this menu, indeed, I will check, why it is like this
