Layouter features on reapter?

The new layouter slides update is great, I want to use it for my projects on my website that includes previous and next buttons with scroll locking on items. However, it doesnt work with dynamic data? This is very strange to me.

Because the normal repeater would work fine but it doesnt have the next/previous buttons nor the scroll locking.

Am I missing something here? I have 40 projects and I do not want to link them all up manually in the layouter, why doesnt the repeater have these layouter features?

There’s been a few threads from before the slides layout were available and there are ways to add code. This one has a code setup by Jonathan from the team:

I have done this solution but I cant get scroll snapping to work
