Lightbox Tips & Tricks

Have you ever wished you could have a close button that doesn’t interfere with your content?

The lightbox feature is a pretty simple tool, easy to use, and adds content and context to your site pages. But, that button, where to put it? I like to use them to put an (iFrame) with a help video for site visitors. It’s a lot faster than writing FAQ help topics and answers.

If you go to the editor tab, scroll to the bottom, select the position pulldown and choose “Pinned,” and select “Page or Section” for the button, not the Lightbox, the entire Lightbox will be pinned, and that sometimes clumsy to place button will appear outside of you Lightbox.

It sounds like you’re discussing a way to position a close button for a lightbox in Wix so that it doesn’t interfere with the content inside the lightbox. Your approach to use a pinned element outside the lightbox itself is clever and can be a great workaround for making the interface cleaner and user-friendly. Is this what you are looking for.
