Can you attach a different lightbox to different items in a repeater?

You can also create the lightbox dynamically using a database and dataset.
Can someone explain how this is possible? Because from what I can tell, you can only use one lightbox per page. How are they able to use three here?
it depends what triggers the light box, simple page visit, or specific click action
