Hi y’all,
I have a portfolio website, and I manage my projects using a Collections( CMS). In this Collections, I have a column called Links, which will lead to individual project pages and a column of Alt text, which is for the project thumbnail. On my work page, I have a repeater of all of my project thumbnails, which is linked to my project page using this Column link of the CMS, and automatically fill the alt text. Everything works fine when I published my site, but seems like the SEO checklist does not recognize the links and alt text that I linked and keeps asking me to add links and Alt texts. Please help with this issue. Thank you!
I use WIX Editor.
I believe that I have run into the same issue here while working on SEO and utilizing the ‘Accessibility Editor’ in WIX Editor.
The automated ‘Pages’ created by the CMS ‘Dynamic List’ on my website have different images for my 'Pages (services)'. I noticed that the ‘Accessibility Editor’ is showing the same image instead of populating/defining each image that is maintained in the CMS database.
Is there a step here that I am missing on my end or does this require a developer fix?
Maybe it has something to do with the Accessibility Editor not shaking hands with CMS dynamic pages that are auto-populated.
So, what I am attempting to do as a workaround is to edit each page individually and click on the image vs. using Accessibility Editor for image/alt text input. Is this going to work or will there be an ‘alt image/text loop’ created?
Thanks in advance.
