Links in button texts

Hi,
I want to add links in the text on my webpage creditagent.ch The texts are linked with a show more / show less button. My problem is now that after the link was opened and closed once, the link doesn’t work anymore and the button can’t be fully closed again.

I’ve just checked your site quickly and all the show more and show less buttons seem to work for me.

The only mention that I would say is that it seems all too bunched up on your page, it would be better if you spread it out a bit more so that you have space around things.

Also, you might prefer to do a collapsing option for your text like in this example below, so that when one is opened then another one is closed automatically.

The buttons work fine. But we added the links like in the description of wix and they don’t work in the preview. If we make a new text and add the link new it works once and then as soon as the text is closed again it doesn’t. An example is under “Weiterbildung” button “Kosten berechnen” the link “Budgetberatung.ch”

Do you mean with your second point that the website might look better if we would make more gaps or make more room between the buttons?

As for the last part of your reply, yes I do as it just feels a bit too crowded together on the page. Just needs to have a bit more space between things, so they have room to breathe so to speak.

Not the whole of the website, just on the four headers with the show more/show less text, as when you open one of them, it is very close to the next one underneath.

Yes, we did it exactly like in the instruction. For some reason, it doesn‘t work together with the button.

The only thing that I can think of right now as to why it isn’t working is because you are probably using the static text version from that tutorial.

You might have to change the setup slightly and use the dynamic option for the show more and show less code.

I tried to use dynamic text. But I don’t have a dataset or what would it be? I tried it under “Auto” with the button5. I just typed in “text37” but it doesn’t work.

Or what do you mean with dataset?

You use the same tutorial, however you change it as shown here for using a dataset instead of having the text on the page itself.

So basically, you cam have just the one dataset and each field contains the text for each show more and show less option.

You just have to change the code to match the tutorial for using dataset and match up the current dataset field with the correct show more box that you use it for.
