Hey all, has anyone found a workaround for the loss of the OLD LIST feature - where you had Manage List and Duplicate, Delete, Hide and Edit? Repeaters don’t offer HIDE (at least from what I see) and I was hoping to not have to create a Synced Content Management System List. Thanks.
Hey there - not sure about this. Great question! You might want to reach out to our support team for a workaround.
Hey there, I did reach out and no option was offered. It seems that a very valuable function (at least to my clients) and any easy to operate one (great for who want to be contributors) has been removed. Possibly you can create multiple blogs and customize it to operate similarly… But that too is more work than the former List option elegantly offered. Thoughts?
@ryanthedesigner I think this is a really great feature and you make a valid point for usability - I’ll make sure the product team sees this feedback!
If you are using a repeater as a static element, then no, you cannot do this. But if you create a database, connect it to the repeater, then yes, this is possible. You would need to create an extra field in your database. For example: “Active” and set it as a boolean field type, so that when you connect your database information to the repeater by using a dataset you will be able to filter and show only those records that are “Active”.
I do appreciate your information. I was certain the process they have offered works wonderfully. Again, the old list worked very well and was simple for my far less savvy clientele. Perhaps something similar may return.
