I created a gallery integrated with some simple filters and dropdown boxes, which simply does searches by name, year etc from a database collection. I also included “Previous Page” and “Next Page” buttons to help the page display, and I also included “Open in Expand” when a image is clicked.
Everything works well on Preview Mode, however it does not on the Live Site. I want to highlight that I am sure that I syncronized the Sandbox to the Live Site and used “Site Content” on the dataset permissions . When I am on the Live Site mode, the gallery stays freezed with the initial images and does not change when the buttons are clicked or the filters and dropboxes are used. At the first sight, I thought the problem was the code I was using, however, while debugging, I noticed that when I click on a picture, the image that pops-up is the correct one, not the freezed that was displayed on the page. Making use of the filters and the buttons, I notice that it happens everytime: the pop-up corresponds to the correct image, however the page displays a freezed wrong one.
It makes me think there is some bug with the Live Site converter or something like that.
I already called Wix Team to ask for help, but they refuse to help, because they do not assist with “code issues” and kept transfering me to several people on phone, but none of them really helped me. The final solution they suggested me was to ask here for help.
