Login and Page Permissions won't work

I’ve followed the wix code tutorial Velo Tutorial: Building Your Own Members Area | Help Center | Wix.com , but somehow it didnt work out, the preview kept showing up an error message saying that there is a bug in the Javascript at the Masterpage. Even when I deleted all the custom input code, the issue remained and now even the regular Member Login button does not function, neither do the Page Permissions. Is there any way to fix that?
