Sometimes it seems I lose such attributes right after I set them, save them, and publish them, and even test them. I come back, and they are all blank. Is this a bug? Is this something I am doing wrong? Is this the old cache related issue? I do clear my cache and go back and it is all there. I just would like to know if that is part of the normal cache mess items that happen after some time on the editor inevitably, or is it something else and requires a different kind of attention?
Also, additional possibly related feedback, I keep noticing items “disappear” visually within the editor in between previews and edits at times. The elements are there, selectable, but invisible completely. This has happened to text elements and image elements. Clearing cache does resolve.
My hunch is this is all cache related, but I would like to hear it back and confirmed.
My random idea: Why doesn’t Wix develop a light and editor-exclusive “browser” that does a better job for our purposes? You see, these “browsers” are clearly made for VIEWING the web the best way, not developing it. Hence, so many potential and known issues with cache that requires cleaning once an hour. I just feel like this would be an extremely well fitting missing piece of the productivity engine around here if you guys decide to develop such a browser. No, I am not asking for an offline installable version of Wix just yet, just the editor and a software that can handle the specific and unusual web browsing and cache needs of our editor better than a typical web browser out there.
Thanks
