Hi Derrick, I’m Idan, a product manager from Wix. I will be glad to talk to you regarding a product we are working on. Please let me know how can I contact you.
Hello Idan, that would be awesome! You can contact me via email at info@citisonshipdesign.com Thanks!
Hi Derrick, very nice! May I ask how you’ve done it? I have tried doing the same thing, but the end result is very laggy and takes a long time for the page to load despite all the elements are set collapsed. You can see it here, www.ajiaj.com
Hi Derrick, How have you managed to do this?
Wow a layers panel would be amazing. I also think wix should go for a Mac App
Hi Derrick
I too would like to know how you did the megamenu for http://citisonship.wixsite.com/codemenu . New to wix and looking to implement this. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
I used the code from http://citisonship.wixsite.com/codemenu
but I don’t know where the submenus strips are placed
in header, on page … together or one below the other?
Please, could you help me ?
Thanks!
(I apologize for my English. I don’t speak but I understand it well )
can you share the codes from the 4 kinds of menus
Mayte,
Could you share the code?
Thanks
Hi Donald
This is a part of the code of one of the menu buttons, because I have repeated the same for each of the buttons and strips

All the code is in the “SITE” section.
For each button and strip I have added events in the properties panel

If someone is interested, I have a test page with this menu and with a header that changes when the page scroll down. All the code is on that page.
I have used boxes for submenu but strips can be used

Wix doesn’t provide complete html access, but it does offer the ability to add iframe to embed which is not a good way to add html. The second way is to add pure html code through javascript/jquery which is also not a good way to increase functionality. So the third way is to use the WIx pre-built headers and tweak their html code to make it fully responsive. check wixlab.com
Thanks for the help, unfortunately I did not find anything about pre-built headers on wixlab.com
Hi Mayte,
I am looking to do the exact type of menu system you have deployed on www.softiluminacao.com.br
You mentioned that you had a test page for this with code examples — do you still have one up and if so can you direct me to it?
thanks in advance!
Steve Pirsich
Hi again Mayte,
No need to reply to my previous question — I have figured out my problem.
I was using your code to try and trigger a lightbox and it just was not working, so I tried it using a normal box and tada, it worked! I am now building a menu system using your code
Thanks for sharing that code with us – much appreciated!
Take care,
Steve Pirsich
Hello Mayte! Thanks for sharing that code! I have a question for you! Where did you place the boxes in the design? one over the other? or one below the other for see them better and then you change the position?
Hi Derrik,
I am trying to build a mega menu like http://citisonship.wixsite.com/subpagemenu1
Could you explain what I need to learn to create the same menu?
Hi Derrick,
I am looking for a dropdown menu solution for our website like the one you have created in http://citisonship.wixsite.com/subpagemenu1
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much
