Member profile pages dynamic?

I’m trying to navigate around the 100 static page limit, so I need to know if my Members personal profile pages will be counted as static pages, or if they are part of the dynamic content the Members App uses?

Anyone know?

The number of Member pages created by the number of Members you have is a dynamic matter. So, they are not counted.

You will want to look at your list of static pages and see what commonalities they have and see if you can create a database and use a content manager to remove them.

I am doing exactly this at the moment, as a client went from 10 services to over 50.

@teejay Thanks very much!

Can I ask about using the content manager to remove static pages? Is there any documentation out there about this? I’m familiar with it, but just haven’t seen anything specific about removing static pages by tapping into a database…

Is this a process where you convert the static page to a dynamic page?

My process is to set up the database / content manager and use the static pages as reference to copy the text from it, and paste it to their respective columns/fields in the content manager.

Once done, THEN and only then delete your static pages by click on the three dots in the page manager to DELETE. This is part is really easy.

IMPORTANT: If the site has history with search engines and visitors, be sure to add a redirect for each page change to a dynamic page, as the URL will now include the collect name

/static-page-url
will change to
/name-of-collection/new-dynamic-page-url

If the page you’re working on will be the template, you can also Convert an Existing Page to a Dynamic Page . From there,
