Starting on April 30, 2020, the old Wix Blog will no longer be supported in the Editor. This guide tells you how to migrate your clients’ blogs to the new Wix Blog, and gives you an overview of the new blog platform.

How do I migrate clients’ blogs to the new Wix Blog?
We recently made it even easier to migrate to the new Wix Blog. Here’s how:

On the left side of the Editor, select the old blog.

Click Switch Now.
Next, delete the old blog. On the left side of the Editor, go to Menus and Pages and select the old blog page, which has a “B” icon.

Click the Show More icon.

Click Delete and then click Delete again to confirm.
When you’re ready, publish your site.

Will this process migrate all of my clients’ blog posts?
Yes. Follow the steps above for each client website and all of your clients’ blog posts, categories and URLs will migrate to the new Wix Blog.
What will happen to my clients’ blogs’ SEO?
By redirecting the URLs for each blog post using Wix’s automated import tool, each post keeps its SEO rankings on Google and other search engines.

What won’t be imported?
Comments and some design selections won’t transfer automatically.
Get updates on feature releases in the new Wix Blog.
Some features and capabilities are not currently available in the new Wix Blog, like adding a tag cloud or blog ticker . You can get updates on the features you’re interested in by choosing them from the end of this article .
What should I tell my clients?
You can share this support article to help clients understand the switch to the new Wix Blog. Clients that have email addresses connected to their accounts will also get an email about the migration in early December.
