Thank you so much for the response! I decided to go with the second solution, as it’s so elegant and efficient.
My problem is now that the value of $w(’ #cross X’).hidden is always being assessed as false, even when the cross vector images are obviously hidden (e.g. hidden on load, without being altered).
Has anyone had similar experience with the hidden property being returned as a value which seems obviously incorrect?
