My burger menu works about 30% of the time

Question:
What is causing my burger menu to work about 30% of the time?

Product:
This is relevant to the wix editor

What are you trying to achieve:
I am trying to make sure that my customers are able to get to the menu (because I am unable to in the preview area(I am yet to publish, I am not sure if that is relevant))

What have you already tried:
I have tried adding animation(it does a 360 spin now but that doesn’t really help)
I have tried going through a couple different settings options but haven’t found anything relevant to the responsiveness of the menu. (keep in mind I’m brand new to wix)

the only way I can get it to work is by changing pages by pressing a different link on my home page and hoping for the menu to now work on that page, like I said in the title I have about a 30% success rate.

Any help at all is welcome

Update on this - it seems as though it works on my contact page 100% of the time but my home page has an even lower chance of it working.

Another update - It works by creating a site test but now I have an issue where the burger menu sits over the top of the X when the menu is open.
