# Need help making 'add to cart' required

Hi guys,

I’m setting up a step by step process to build a care package. I’ve set up a basic multistep box which seems to work for what I need it to do. The only problem is I want the first step to require the customer to add a mailer box to their cart before they can start adding items.

Does anyone know how I could do this?
