OnClick toggle between two actions

Hi there, kind of a novice here and trying to figure out how to make OnClick toggle between two actions.

I have successfully written the code for the OnClick event to show full text. I would like that when the OnClick element is clicked again that the even is show less test.

It will require and If statement but not sure how to incorporate it code.
