Paid Plans lags on Buy Now button click

Hi all,

I hope you’re all well.

I came across this very annoying thing in the Pricing Plans/Paid Plans app. Basically, I have a paid plan on my website and I have noted that when the user clicks the “Buy Now” button, the app lags (or appears to seemingly do nothing) for a few seconds before it fires the next screen. This “lag” is noticeable and during those seconds the user doesn’t have any visual indication the app is doing something in the background so it seems like the user has never clicked on the Buy Now button.

As this could be a huge blocker in the funnel, is there any way to fix this/reduce the lag?

So far, I have tried the following (without any success):

  1. cleared all cache
  2. tried on new devices (same behaviour)
  3. tried adding an overlay container to fire a lightboox with a preloader (to add some visual indication things are happening)

Please can anyone help?

Hey @johnnyursu thanks for bringing this up. I made a ticket and forwarded it to our pricing plan team so they can check the checkout flow and loading. They’ll reply to you via the email you used to sign up.

Edit: If you’re comfortable with coding you can make a pricing plan if you want to be able to add additional functionality to the app, like what you mentioned of having an overlay when someone clicks on the button to be directed to the plans.
