All of a sudden, The Norton AV is detecting and showing following detection everytime I navigate the dashboard. I did reported it as false detection and may take 24 hours for analysis, but just in case I wanna know if it is actually safe?
Hi @V-Blog, frog.wix.com is a subdomain of wix.com itself, so it’s part of Wix’s own infrastructure rather than something in your site setup. This kind of thing does happen: AV heuristics sometimes flag lesser known first party subdomains as suspicious just because they see less traffic on them, not because anything is actually wrong. You already did the right two things, reporting it to Norton as a false positive and not taking any action on your end. Since it is Wix’s own domain, only Wix support can give you a fully authoritative answer on what it is used for, so if you want full certainty I would open a ticket with them too. I would not disable any site security settings over this.
